Monday Muse: Sarah Jessica Parker

It’s impossible to have a style blog and not pay homage to Sarah Jessica Parker. SJP flung to the fashion scene as Carrie, but continues to inspire personal style on the streets of New York and with her very own shoe line.

Below I show you how to mimic this classic Carrie Bradshaw look. The base is comprised of a neutral-colored lingerie-style dress. Nightwear is still quite trendy. Layered on top should be a statement coat. Try to keep the pallet dark, because the finishing touch should be a bright shoe with a LOT of character. This is where you can add strong personality to the outfit.
